Srebarna

Nature/Location The Srebarna Nature Reserve is located in the northeast region of Bulgaria - a few kilometers from the Danube river, 18 km west of Silistra. It comprises Lake Srebarna and its surroundings and is an important wetland located on the Via Pontica, a bird migration route between Europe and Africa. As a result, it provides nesting and migratory habitat for many endangered bird species. The reserve embraces 6 km2 of protected area and a buffer zone of 5.

Goliam Beglik Dam

Golyam Beglik is a reservoir near the central parts of the Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria. It was formerly officially called the Vasil Kolarov reservoir.
